EUCO QWIKjoint UVR Polyurea Joint Filler – UV Resistant Concrete Joint Repair
Euclid Chemical EUCO QWIKjoint UVR is an advanced semi-rigid polyurea joint filler designed for high-performance concrete floor applications. Engineered with next-generation polyurea technology, it provides exceptional ultraviolet (UV) resistance, fast curing, and durable protection for construction joints, control joints, and floor cracks.
Ideal for industrial warehouses, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, freezer rooms, and heavy-traffic concrete floors, EUCO QWIKjoint UVR helps protect joint edges from impact damage, spalling, and deterioration caused by forklifts, pallet jacks, and repeated vehicle traffic.
Unlike traditional polyurea joint fillers, EUCO QWIKjoint UVR offers superior colour stability, reduced moisture sensitivity, and reliable curing performance in temperatures as low as -29°C. The product can be shaved flush with the concrete surface shortly after installation, with a large finishing window of up to 24 hours.
Key Benefits & Features
Exceptional UV Resistance
EUCO QWIKjoint UVR is specifically formulated to resist fading and colour degradation caused by ultraviolet exposure, making it suitable for applications where appearance and durability are important.
Fast Return to Service
The rapid-setting formula allows floors to return to operation quickly:
- Light traffic ready in approximately 1 hour
- Heavy traffic ready in approximately 2 hours
This makes it ideal for busy warehouses, factories, and commercial facilities where downtime must be minimised.
Protects Concrete Joint Edges
The semi-rigid polyurea formulation transfers loads across joints while reducing edge breakdown, spalling, and maintenance requirements caused by heavy equipment traffic.
Wide Installation Temperature Range
EUCO QWIKjoint UVR cures effectively in temperatures from -29°C to 32°C, making it suitable for challenging environments including cold storage and freezer floors.
Moisture-Tolerant Performance
Compared with standard polyureas, EUCO QWIKjoint UVR is less sensitive to moisture and will not bubble or foam when installed in damp joints.
Recommended Applications
- Industrial concrete warehouse floors
- Commercial concrete flooring systems
- Construction and control joint filling
- Concrete crack repair applications
- Manufacturing facilities
- Distribution centres
- Cold storage and freezer floors
- Heavy forklift traffic areas
- Existing concrete floor restoration projects
Surface Preparation Requirements
For maximum adhesion and performance:
- Ensure joints are clean and dry before application.
- Remove oil, dirt, dust, debris, coatings, sealers, and curing compounds.
- Vacuum joints thoroughly and remove remaining residue using oil-free compressed air.
- Ensure joint surfaces have an open texture for proper bonding.
- Route and clean cracks before filling when repairing floor cracks.
- No primer is required before applying EUCO QWIKjoint UVR.
Installation Guidelines
Cartridge Preparation
- Shake cartridges thoroughly before use.
- Attach the supplied static mixing nozzle.
- Use a 1:1 dual-component dispensing gun suitable for 600ml cartridges.
- Discard the initial mixed material until a consistent colour and texture is achieved.
Joint Filling
- Fill joints and cracks completely to full depth.
- Slightly overfill joints before shaving.
- Remove excess material by shaving flush with the surrounding concrete surface.
- Shaving can begin approximately 1 hour after installation and up to 24 hours later depending on conditions.
Limitations
- Not designed for expansion joint sealing.
- Material and equipment should be kept above 10°C before use.
- Contact surfaces must be clean and dry for best results.
- Do not use where seamless epoxy or urethane coatings will be applied without checking compatibility.
- Constant exterior UV exposure may cause slight colour changes.
- Joint filling should be completed according to concrete shrinkage recommendations and project requirements.

Colour accuracy disclaimer: We have taken care to display the most accurate visuals of our products. However, we are not responsible for the colour accuracy of the device you are viewing our swatches on. These variations arise due to different computer monitors and devices (make, model and technology, as well as resolution, contrast and brightness control settings) in much the same way a scan will differ from an original image and a colour photocopy. Furthermore, coatings can exhibit variation in perceived colour depending on gloss level and application method. If you require a very specific colour match, please make your selection via actual swatches and colour boards available at our showroom.
