Sikafloor-400 N Elastic – UV Resistant Trafficable Waterproofing Membrane
Sikafloor-400 N Elastic is a one-component, highly elastic polyurethane waterproofing membrane designed for exposed outdoor areas requiring durable waterproofing, UV resistance and weather resistance. Its flexible, crack-bridging formulation makes it suitable for trafficable waterproofing applications including balconies, terraces, roof decks, podium decks, footbridges, stairways and other exposed pedestrian areas.
Designed for exterior use, Sikafloor-400 N Elastic provides a waterproof, UV resistant and non-yellowing membrane that can withstand normal abrasion and pedestrian traffic. It can be used in systems designed for light to heavy pedestrian traffic, with the system build-up selected according to the required level of traffic and mechanical exposure.

UV Resistant Exterior Waterproofing
Sikafloor-400 N Elastic is formulated for exposed applications where the membrane is subject to sunlight and changing weather conditions. Its UV resistant, non-yellowing and weather resistant properties make it suitable for outdoor waterproofing applications where long-term exposure is expected.
The highly elastic polyurethane formulation can accommodate movement in the substrate and provides crack-bridging properties when correctly applied as part of the specified system.
Trafficable Waterproofing Membrane
Sikafloor-400 N Elastic can be incorporated into systems designed for pedestrian traffic, including heavy foot traffic. The required thickness and system build-up depends on the intended application and level of mechanical exposure.
For heavy pedestrian traffic, the specified system is approximately 1.8–2.0 mm thick and incorporates Sikafloor 161 primer, Sikafloor-400 N Elastic, broadcast quartz sand and additional Sikafloor-400 N Elastic layers.
For light pedestrian traffic, the specified system is approximately 1.1–1.2 mm thick.

Pot Life: Material in opened containers should be applied immediately. Surface film formation can occur within 1–2 hours in an opened container. High temperatures and high humidity will accelerate curing.
