Nutech PaveCoat H2O brings high-performance concrete protection into an environmentally friendly, low-odour formula. Engineered as an advanced water-based acrylic hybrid sealer, PaveCoat H2O deeply penetrates concrete substrates to seal against oil, grease, weather exposure, and everyday wear without the harsh solvent fumes.

Whether you are restoring an old driveway or sealing a newly laid patio, PaveCoat H2O delivers a rich, protective gloss finish that brings out the best in plain concrete, stencil paving, slate, and exposed aggregate. Formulated specifically for Australian conditions, its non-yellowing and UV-resistant chemistry ensures long-lasting colour vibrancy and surface durability under foot and light vehicle traffic.

Unlike traditional solvent sealers, PaveCoat H2O features a low-VOC footprint (<6%) and cleans up effortlessly with warm fresh water, making it safer for applicators, surrounding plants, and residential areas.

Important: Always refer to the manufacturer's latest Product Data Sheet (PDS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for complete substrate preparation, safety guidelines, and application instructions prior to use.

  • Uncoated Concrete Only: Cannot be applied over existing solvent-based, oil-based, or enamel coatings; applying over incompatible sealers will lead to adhesion failure.
  • 28-Day Concrete Cure Rule: Standard new concrete slabs must cure for at least 28 days before sealer application.
  • Do Not Etch Soft Concrete: Soft, powdery, or weak concrete surfaces must never be acid-etched or acid-washed, as this will permanently damage the surface profile.
  • Weather & Temperature Limits: Apply only in dry conditions between 10°C and 30°C. Do not apply if rain is expected within 12 hours, or during early morning/late afternoon when dew and condensation can cause surface clouding.
  • 7-Day Vehicle Curing: Vehicles must strictly not be parked on the newly sealed surface for a minimum of 7 days after application.
  • Slip Resistance Caution: Sealing smooth or sloping areas can increase slip hazards. Use Nutech AntiSlip Mix In for flat or mild slopes (P2/P3 ratings).
For steep inclines and gradients greater than 1 in 14, a P5 or R12 rating will be required. Nutech Paint recommends EPiC PolyCryl (Exterior & Interior) OR EPiC Epoxy 500 (Interior only) with the addition of the suitable AntiSlip Cast On products for this application. • Second Coat: Apply un-thinned.
How long must new concrete cure before applying PaveCoat H2O?

New concrete must cure for a minimum of 28 days prior to sealing with PaveCoat H2O. (For same-day sealing on fresh concrete, use PaveCoat Cure & Seal instead)
