Premium Swimming Pool Epoxy Paint – High Performance Pool Coating System

NuPool Epoxy is a professional-grade pool epoxy paint designed for long-lasting protection and a high-gloss finish on concrete and fibreglass swimming pools. This advanced swimming pool epoxy coating delivers exceptional durability, chemical resistance, and waterproof protection for both residential and commercial applications.

Note: NuPool Epoxy IS NOT a suitable system to recoat existing chlorinated rubber finishes. Chlorinated rubber coated surfaces should either be removed using Nu EcoSafe Stripper or recoat using NuPool Chlorinated Rubber top coat.

Heavy Duty Swimming Pool Paint for Concrete & Fibreglass Pools

This swimming pool paint epoxy system is a 2-pack, solvent-based epoxy coating engineered for superior adhesion and hardness. It is ideal for new pool surfaces as well as properly prepared existing epoxy-coated pools.

  • High build epoxy pool paint system for concrete and fibreglass
  • Excellent resistance to pool chemicals, acids, alkali, and oils
  • Waterproof and impervious protective barrier
  • Hard-wearing gloss finish for long-term durability
  • Designed for professional pool epoxy coating applications

Why Choose This Swimming Pool Epoxy Coating System?

Unlike standard pool paint, NuPool Epoxy is a true crosslinked epoxy system that chemically bonds to properly prepared surfaces. This creates a tougher, more durable finish ideal for demanding pool environments.

  • Outstanding chemical resistance for chlorinated pool water
  • High abrasion resistance from cleaning equipment and foot traffic
  • Prevents water ingress and substrate degradation
  • Strong adhesion for long-term coating performance

Colour accuracy disclaimer: We have taken care to display the most accurate visuals of our products. However, we are not responsible for the colour accuracy of the device you are viewing our swatches on. These variations arise due to different computer monitors and devices (make, model and technology, as well as resolution, contrast and brightness control settings) in much the same way a scan will differ from an original image and a colour photocopy. Furthermore, coatings can exhibit variation in perceived colour depending on gloss level and application method. If you require a very specific colour match, please make your selection via actual swatches and colour boards available at our showroom.

Product Disclaimer: Ensure you read all product, technical and safety data sheets prior to application as liability falls on the applicator. All products must be applied in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended method.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pick up NuPool Epoxy from your warehouse?

Yes, pickup is available! While we may or may not always have stock at our main warehouse, we can arrange direct pickup from Nutech’s state distribution facilities:

  • VIC: Seaford (Melbourne)
  • NSW: Rydalmere (Sydney)
  • QLD: Meadowbrook (Brisbane)
  • WA: Cockburn Central (Perth)

Simply select or leave a note at checkout with your preferred pickup location, and our team will follow up with stock availability and pickup details.

How long must I wait after painting before filling the pool with water?

You must allow a strict 7-day hard cure at 25°C before filling the pool with water. Filling the pool early will cause blistering, hazing, or coating failure.

Can NuPool Epoxy be painted over an old chlorinated rubber pool coating?

No, absolutely not. NuPool Epoxy MUST NOT be applied over existing chlorinated rubber coatings, as severe lifting and adhesion failure will occur. Old chlorinated rubber must be completely stripped using Nu-EcoSafe Stripper or recoated using NuPool Chlorinated Rubber topcoat. Use a Nutech Coating Test Kit if you are unsure of the existing paint chemistry.

What happens if I wait longer than 72 hours between coats?

If the recoat window exceeds 72 hours, the cured surface becomes too smooth for intercoat bonding. You must mechanically abrade (sand) the entire surface to create a physical key before applying the next coat.
