Colour accuracy disclaimer: We have taken care to display the most accurate visuals of our products. However, we are not responsible for the colour accuracy of the device you are viewing our swatches on. These variations arise due to different computer monitors and devices (make, model and technology, as well as resolution, contrast and brightness control settings) in much the same way a scan will differ from an original image and a colour photocopy. Furthermore, coatings can exhibit variation in perceived colour depending on gloss level and application method. If you require a very specific colour match, please make your selection via actual swatches and colour boards available at our showroom.

Frequently Asked Questions

What substrates is NuCourt Primer designed for?

NuCourt Primer is formulated specifically for bare concrete sports surfaces such as tennis courts, basketball courts, netball courts, and concrete recreational pathways.

Do I need to thin NuCourt Primer before applying?

No. NuCourt Primer is supplied ready to use straight from the container. Dilution is not recommended or required.

How should NuCourt Primer be applied to the concrete?

Flood apply 1 coat over the prepared concrete using a roller, broom, or brush at a spread rate of 4 m² per litre to maximize deep surface penetration.

How long do I need to wait before applying NuCourt topcoats?

Under standard conditions (25°C and 60% relative humidity), NuCourt Primer is touch dry in 30 minutes and can be topcoated after 1 hour. Lower temperatures or higher humidity will extend drying times.

How do I prepare the concrete before applying NuCourt Primer?

New Concrete: Must be cured for 28 days, etched using EcoSafe Concrete Etch, and thoroughly pressure-washed.

Old Concrete: Remove any existing paint using EcoSafe High Performance Stripper, degrease thoroughly, and perform a water absorption test. Etch if water does not absorb readily before pressure washing and priming.
