EPIREZ Supatuff Food Grade Finish Epoxy Coating
EPIREZ Supatuff™ Food Grade Finish is a solventless, high-build epoxy coating designed to provide excellent chemical and abrasion resistance on steel, concrete, aluminium, timber and other suitable surfaces.
It is designed for creating easy-clean floor and wall surfaces in environments such as food processing plants, food technology establishments, catering facilities, beverage production plants and pharmaceutical industries.
Supatuff™ Food Grade Finish has non-taint and low odour properties, making it suitable for use in food preparation areas. The product has also been tested by the CSIRO Food Research Laboratory for its effect on food tainting, with a copy of the report available on request.
The coating has a long work time for easier application with roller or spray equipment, while its drying time allows recoating to be completed within the same shift.
EPIREZ® Supatuff™ Food Grade Finish requires the addition of an appropriate EPIREZ® Colourpack and was previously named EPIREZ® Supatuff™ FG.

- Captive blast clean to expose firmly adhered aggregate.
Alternatively, concrete can be acid etched using EPIREZ® Concrete Etch & Cleaner. The surface should then be neutralised by washing with fresh water and allowed to dry.
Steel Surface Preparation
For steel surfaces, abrasive blasting to AS 1627 Part 4:2005 to Class 2½ white metal, with a minimum profile height of 40 microns.
Prime the surface with EPIREZ Epoxy Primer Sealer using a long-nap roller or airless spray. The primer should be worked into the surface profile and pores to ensure complete penetration.
Drying and Recoat Times
