EPIREZ Patching & Flooring Mortar Aggregate (QA2) 16L
Specially graded aggregate for EPIREZ epoxy mortar and anti-slip flooring applications.
EPIREZ Patching & Flooring Mortar Aggregate (QA2) is a specially treated and graded inert aggregate designed for use with EPIREZ Epoxy Mortar Binders and EPIREZ® Supatuff™ epoxy coatings. With a controlled particle size of approximately 0.2–0.3 mm, QA2 can be added to epoxy binders to adjust the product consistency and rheology for different repair and application methods.
When combined with EPIREZ® General Purpose Epoxy Mortar Binder (133), QA2 allows the resulting epoxy mortar to be applied by pouring, trowelling or dry packing, depending on the amount of aggregate added. When used with EPIREZ Non-Sag Epoxy Mortar Binder (633), it produces a high-strength, non-sag epoxy mortar suitable for trowel and dry-pack applications.
QA2 can also be used with the EPIREZ Non-Sag Epoxy Mortar Binder (633) to create a high-strength, chemically resistant epoxy mortar for concrete rehabilitation and repair, including concrete sewer structures such as manholes and wet wells.

How to Use QA2
QA2 is added to the appropriate EPIREZ epoxy binder to achieve the required mortar consistency and application characteristics. The quantity of aggregate added will depend on the desired application method and required consistency.
When used with EPIREZ General Purpose Epoxy Mortar Binder (133), the modified epoxy mortar can be applied by pouring, trowelling or dry packing.
When used with EPIREZ Non-Sag Epoxy Mortar Binder (633), the resulting mortar can be applied by trowel or dry pack. The modified mortar can also be used on vertical and overhead surfaces at greater thicknesses than the unmodified binder.
Epoxy Concrete Repair Applications
The combination of EPIREZ Non-Sag Epoxy Mortar Binder (633) and QA2 can be used to produce a high-strength, monolithic and chemically resistant non-sag epoxy mortar for the rehabilitation of concrete and sewer structures.
This makes QA2 suitable for demanding repair environments such as manholes, wet wells and similar concrete structures where a durable epoxy mortar repair system is required.
Anti-Slip Applications
QA2 can also be used with compatible EPIREZ® Supatuff™ epoxy coatings where an anti-slip or textured surface is required. The aggregate provides additional surface texture for applications such as ramps, loading docks, walkways and stairs.
