EPIREZ Anti-Slip Aggregate (Sil-Carb) is a specially treated grade of silicon carbide designed to create an effective anti-slip and anti-skid surface when broadcast over compatible epoxy coatings. It provides a durable textured finish for areas where improved slip resistance is required.
Sil-Carb is suitable for use with compatible EPIREZ epoxy coatings and Supatuff systems. It is particularly useful for ramps, loading docks, walkways, stairs and other areas where a slip-resistant epoxy flooring surface is required.

Application
Mix and apply the compatible epoxy coating according to its product instructions. Spread the coating evenly using a brush, roller or airless spray equipment. While the epoxy is still wet, broadcast Sil-Carb evenly over the surface to achieve the required anti-slip texture.
Allow the coating to reach the recommended recoat stage, then brush or vacuum away excess aggregate. A second coat of compatible EPIREZ epoxy binder or Supatuff™ coating can be applied once the first coat has set to help lock the aggregate into the flooring system and provide a stronger finish.
