Application Guide

For detailed substrate preparation and application steps, download our comprehensive Application Guide. Below are some pro tips for optimal results:

Preparation: Begin with Nu-EcoSafe Etch and Nu-EcoSafe Ultra Etch for pristine surfaces. Don’t forget to pressure wash before applying Nutech PaveCoat.

Equipment: Opt for a roller or brush for an even application.

Ideal Conditions: Apply Nutech PaveCoat in ambient, dry conditions between 10°C to 30°C. Avoid application if rain is expected within 12 hours or during early morning or late evening to prevent coating damage and surface clouding.

Application: Thin in accordance with the surface profile. Apply two even coats, carefully observing recoat and drying times.

Consult Official Documentation: Always refer to the manufacturer's latest Product Data Sheet (PDS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full prep, safety, and application details before starting.

Not for Enamel Paint: PaveCoat is not suitable as an overcoat for standard enamel floor finishes.

Steep Incline Limits: Not recommended on steep slopes (gradients over 1 in 14 or >5° incline); steep areas require EPiC PolyCryl or EPiC Epoxy 500 with cast-on anti-slip to meet P5/R12 ratings.

Weather & Dew Risks: Do not apply if rain is expected within 12 hours, or in early morning/late afternoon, as ambient moisture causes surface clouding and coating failure.

Do Not Etch Soft Concrete: Powdery or soft concrete surfaces must never be acid-etched, as this will permanently damage the substrate.

7-Day Vehicle Curing: Vehicles must strictly not be parked on the sealed surface for at least 7 days after application.

Manufacturer Liability: Nutech’s warranty is limited solely to product replacement or credit, excluding consequential damages or labor costs.
