It is suitable for \u003cstrong\u003elarge heavy operating equipment, precision grouting in cold conditions, rapid anchoring and fast patching\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEPIREZ Instant Grout develops strength rapidly, with compressive strength reaching \u003cstrong\u003e20.7 MPa at 2 hours, 30.2 MPa at 4 hours and 41 MPa at 24 hours\u003c\/strong\u003e. Large, heavy operating equipment can be started up after 4 hours, subject to site conditions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eMixing\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMeasure \u003cstrong\u003e1.8–2.1 litres of water per 15kg pail\u003c\/strong\u003e, depending on the required consistency. Slowly add EPIREZ Instant Grout to the water and mix thoroughly using a high-shear mechanical mixer at approximately 400–500 rpm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMix for \u003cstrong\u003e2 minutes after all powder has been added\u003c\/strong\u003e. Do not exceed 2.10 litres of water per 15kg pail.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eApplication\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEPIREZ Instant Grout must be placed within \u003cstrong\u003e10 minutes of mixing\u003c\/strong\u003e. It can be mixed to a dry-pack, plastic or flowable consistency and may be dry packed, trowelled, flowed or vibrated into place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grout can be placed up to \u003cstrong\u003e75mm\u003c\/strong\u003e and may be placed using mechanical devices such as plungers, rods or vibrators to assist placement.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSurface Preparation\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll surfaces should be free from oil, grease, laitance and loose material. Defective or weak concrete should be cleaned back to a sound base. Bolt holes and fixing pockets should be blown clean of dirt and debris.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt least \u003cstrong\u003e2 hours before grouting\u003c\/strong\u003e, flood the prepared foundation with fresh water for pre-soaking. Immediately before grouting, remove all standing water and inspect bolt holes and pockets to ensure water has been removed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eFormwork\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFormwork should be placed around the baseplate to assist quick and easy grout placement. It should extend above the underside of the baseplate and be securely fixed and watertight.
