Dr. Schutz SuperBond is a high-quality, solvent-free bonding primer for non-porous surfaces like ceramic tiles, polished stone, glass, and metal. This primer ensures strong adhesion and smooth compatibility with Dr. Schutz coatings, creating a durable foundation for any flooring project.

Suitable for all kinds of silicate-based stone surfaces (e.g. granite), glazed ceramic tiles, as well as glass and metal
surfaces.

Application

Thinly apply SuperBond evenly onto the properly strip-cleaned and dry surface with a clean Polish Applicator, or with a QuickStep mop or with a dry Dr. Schutz Aquatop-Roller (minimum temp. 15°C). Hereby it must be ensured that the entire area is moistened with a closed, wet film!

Please note:

– Remnants of cement, separating agents and loose particles must be completely removed. The surface to be primed must be entirely free of dirt and organic adhesions (e.g. lacquer, care products, cleaning agents, fat, wax). For this purpose clean thoroughly with Clean & Strip, Turbo Strip, or Inolit Aktive Powder and rinse carefully with clear water afterwards. We recommend using a monodisc machine (150 rpm) with PU Renovation pad.

– Floor and material temperature must not fall below +15°C during application and drying time.

– The technical rules are to be observed.

Consumption

Approx. 20-30 ml/m² (30-50 m²/l).

Drying Time

Can be carefully walked on and worked on further after about 1 hour (at 20°C, 50% relative air humidity and sufficient ventilation). It is essential to check that drying is complete, especially in the area of joints! The area must be
coated directly after drying! An extended period between drying and sealing reduces the surface activation.
Low temperatures, high humidity and poor ventilation can prolong the drying time

Storage

Protect against frost. Store in a cool, dry place. Will keep for 6 months in unopened, original canister from the date
of manufacture. Keep coating materials out of the reach of children
