Dr. Schutz Antislip R11 Additive is a ceramic-based additive designed to provide superior slip resistance, reaching an R11 rating. Ideal for high-traffic or wet areas, it integrates with Dr. Schutz two-component lacquers to create a durable, anti-slip finish that meets stringent safety standards for commercial and industrial environments.

  • Provides R11 slip resistance for enhanced safety
  • Ideal for high-traffic, wet, and safety-critical areas
  • Easily integrates with Dr. Schutz water-based lacquers
  • Long-lasting, durable anti-slip performance

Areas of Application

Working areas which are coated with Dr. Schutz Sealers, in which higher requirements for slip-safety have to be met, on account of dust and liquids falling on the floor.
Limited recommended for structured floorings.

Application

With Dr. Schutz PU Sealer / Waxnomor or PU Anticolor / Marknomor in a two-coat application:

The floor must be professionally prepared before applying the lacquer (pay attention to our Technical Information „Preparation of subsurfaces“). Carefully add Antislip Additive to the lacquer in a mix-ratio of 12.5:1 (440 g on 5L base lacquer) according to the weight of the lacquer and stir thoroughly. Then carefully stir in Crosslinker M. Apply the sealer mixture evenly with the Aquatop-Roller, covering the floor with approx. 50 ml/m². During application, pay constant attention to the even distribution of the Antislip Additive in the lacquer-tray. After drying, but not longer than 12 hours later, apply the sealer without Antislip Additive evenly a second time, again using approx. 50 ml/m².

Consumption

ca. 4 g/m².

Cleaning and Care

After the floor has completely hardened, use Dr. Schutz PU Cleaner for cleaning. Due to the surface structure, cleaning may require more time and effort.

With heavy traffic and frequent cleaning, the slip-resistant effect of the floor may diminish. Signs of wear, scratches, or discoloration can only be corrected by renovating the entire or partial sealing film with a new application. We recommend carrying out renovations in taped-off sections of the floor.

To maintain the slip-resistant effect, we do not advise using conventional care products with an acrylic-dispersion film.

Notes

We recommend using this product especially for matt lacquers, as in the case of glossier finishes variations in the uniformity of the application tend to be more clearly visible. However, in principle it is possible to apply this product on those floors as well.

Ensure you read all product, technical and safety data sheets prior to application as liability falls on the applicator. All products must be applied in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended method.
