Alka 204 is a clear, solvent-based polyaspartic topcoat designed for concrete floor coatings. With superior gloss and durability, it offers enhanced abrasion resistance and flexibility compared to traditional polyurethanes, marking a new generation in coating technology.

Application:

Layer Thickness: Recommended coating thickness is approximately 25 microns per coat.

Pot Life (at 25°C): Approximately at least 1 hour.

Curing Time (at 25°C):

• Touch Dry Time: 1 hour
• Re-coatable: 6-8 hours
• Light traffic: 3 days
• Full cure: 7 days.

Consumption: Alka 204 consumes approximately 0.1 – 0.15 kg/m2 (approximately 5-8 m2/litre) per coat, depending on substrate conditions. Achieve a total thickness of 25 microns by applying two coats as a concrete sealer.

Application Instructions: Apply Alka 204 using a brush, roller, or spray. Note that Alka 204 requires a special solvent for thinning, and standard Xylene solvents should not be used.

Cleaning of Equipment: Use Xylene to clean tools and equipment before the mixed compound begins to harden. Mechanical removal is necessary once cured.
