Description
Alka 100 is a versatile primer, sealer, and bonding agent suitable for various surfaces. It can be used as a primer on cement renderings, asbestos cement, and timber. Additionally, it serves as a subfill for floor leveling and coving. As a bonding agent, Alka 100 is ideal for epoxy mortar screeds and self-leveling floor toppings.

Storage Conditions
Store away from direct sunlight, flames, sparks, and heating. Flash point >25 C. Density: 1.0 Kg/L.
Application
Recommended coating thickness is approximately 50 microns per coat. Pot Life (at 25 C) is approximately 25 minutes. Curing time (at 25 C): Initial cure – 2 Days, Re-coatable – 12 hours, Light traffic – 3 days, Full cure – 7 days.
Consumption
Approximately 0.2 – 0.3 kg/m² (approx. 5m²/litre) per coat, depending on substrate conditions. Strongly absorbent or porous substrates may require two primer coats.
Application Instructions
Alka 100 can be applied by brush or roller with a recommended coating thickness of approximately 50 microns per coat.
Cleaning of Equipment
Use Xylene for cleaning tools and equipment before the mixed compound begins to harden. Once cured, mechanical removal is necessary.
